Your choice on whether to use a web site editor depends upon the needs of your web site and your budget. If you want a simple web site to display your work and have a limited budget then this would be the way to go.

In order to access the admin area, the following conditions must be met by your computer system.

  1. You must be running an IBM compatible PC. This system will not work on Macintosh computers without Virtual PC or similar program installed.
  2. Windows 98 or better operating system. Will not work from Linux desktop.
  3. 64Mb of Ram or better.
  4. Supported Browsers: Internet Explorer v5.2+, FireFox v1.07+, Netscape v8+, Flock 0.5+
  5. 800 x 600 Screen resolution or better.


Template Express is an option you can use where you can pick a template to use for your web site, but it is NOT a web site editor like Soholaunch. You would still need software to maintain your web site. This option just takes care of the design aspect for you and is useful if all you want to do is input the information without having to worry about the design.

This would be a good choice if your budget is limited but would like us to develop a web site specific to your needs. This way you could afford the nice 'extras' such as a web site calendar or something else you would like to see on your web site.

Viastep

Short description: Use Templates Express to install static templates to your web site. You will need to use FTP and edit the html files, replacing the default text with your own text. Standard information like title, name, address and similar will be collected during installation and placed into the installed template in the appropriate locations.
